Judy Murray insists: “I’ve always believed in tennis for everyone. There are huge pockets of the country where you won’t find tennis courts and you certainly won’t find coaches or the money to pay for lessons anyway.
“We’re trying to get families more active through tennis and build a workforce out of teachers, parents, students, club members, community members.
“We’ll teach them how to get people started in tennis.”
But she firmly believes kids shouldn’t strictly stick with just tennis as she also encouraged Jamie and Andy to try other sports.
